Our first recipient, Bethel Men’s Shelter, began as an Emergency Winter Shelter in 2007. Since that time, they have provided hundreds of men with a warm place to stay, food, and clothing. As the need has grown, Bethel has worked hard to expand their programming to include year-round operations to facilitate getting their clients back into secure housing.

Our second recipient, NAMI of the Piedmont Tri-County, has been a part of York County for over 30 years, working to improve the quality of life for those who live with mental health conditions. They have recently opened a Drop-In Center that will offer a safe and supportive environment for the community they serve.

Our third recipient, the Anne Springs Close Greenway, will receive a grant to help with their Bridge Program that assists families with scholarships to become annual members of the Greenway. This enables over 400 families to access programming such as their after-school curriculum. We are thrilled to partner with the Greenway, as we are honored to dedicate our 2021 Fundraiser to the late, Mrs. Anne Springs Close in appreciation for all her support of Good Folks of York County.

All these agencies have worked hard to serve our communities for many years.
